Content Licence

This text is the binding terms of use for the content of the Moje slovíčka project (mojeslovicka.cz) and its English-language branch, CaramelWords (caramelwords.com).

What this covers

Card text (definitions, example sentences, usage notes), card images, and their arrangement into a collection — as a whole and individually. This also covers images and videos published on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

What's allowed without asking

• browsing the site;
• downloading, printing, and sharing the official PDF export for personal study or classroom use (school, club, tutoring);
• watching, sharing a link to, and embedding videos from YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok through the platforms' own official tools;
• quoting a short excerpt (a sentence or two) with a link back, for example in a review or article.

Condition: each of these uses must credit the source — "Moje slovíčka (mojeslovicka.cz)" or "CaramelWords (caramelwords.com)" — and must not imply an official partnership or endorsement.

What's not allowed

Regardless of whether the use is commercial, and regardless of whether the source is credited:

• downloading images, text, or structured card data and incorporating them into another product, app, flashcard deck (e.g. Anki, Quizlet), website, or dataset — whether a single card or the whole catalogue;
• republishing or mirroring the PDF or images elsewhere as your own distribution channel;
• copying repeatedly or systematically in small pieces that together amount to a substantial part of the collection.

Why

The content combines curatorial work — word selection, sense structuring, note writing, image direction and selection — with a protected database, i.e. an investment in obtaining, verifying, and presenting it. Use outside the scopes above is not authorised.
